WE'RE HERE TO SERVE YOUR NEEDS

Nicky Rainbolt, owner

CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING VP, PSM

  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Mechanical Engineering, Iowa State University
  • University of Wisconsin-Madison Ammonia Refrigeration courses on Engineering Safety Relief Systems, Principals and Practices of Mechanical Integrity for Industrial Refrigeration Systems & Nondestructive Testing Methods for Mechanical Integrity; Kansas State Industrial Refrigeration Workshop
  • Professional Engineer: Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri
  • Organizations: IIAR, member of Education Committee; Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha

Nicky enjoys leading LoTemp’s Construction & Engineering department to find solutions to a customer’s refrigeration needs. “There’s no better feeling than participating in a process that results in the customer meeting or exceeding its business objectives. When that happens, I get to celebrate the customer’s success.” Nicky also assists customers in their PSM needs.

When Nicky is not problem-solving for LoTemp customers, she is hiking U.S. mountain ranges with her husband Andrew and their three children.

Patrick Hillebrandt, owner

SALES & SERVICE, CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING

  • Vilter Safety & Education School, Local 464 Steamfitter Apprenticeship program
  • RETA

If it involves ammonia refrigeration, Patrick can handle it. From running installation projects, to troubleshooting compressor issues, to dealing with rogue PLCs, Patrick has the expertise and ability to help the customer through it. “It’s important for me to visualize the entire LoTemp-customer process – from estimating the job to installing the new equipment, to observing the end-result.”

To stay current with industry changes, Patrick regularly attends continuing education classes through industry sponsors and RETA.

When Patrick gets a break from responding to the needs of LoTemp customers, he dedicates his available time to his wife Tracey and his two children.  He’s a sports fan, and awaits the day when his beloved Miami Dolphins will be a contender again.

John Hillebrandt, owner

SERVICE & SALES VP, PSM

  • Creighton University School of Law, Juris Doctor
  • St. Louis University, Bachelor of Arts, English
  • University of Wisconsin-Madison Ammonia Refrigeration courses on System Safety, Process Hazard Analysis, Safety Management Audits
  • IIAR, RETA, Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha (MCAO) Board Member and Vacation Fund Trustee

Before the LoTemp engineer and design team have finished their jobs, John and his service team are already in their starting positions. “LoTemp’s service team has to identify a customer’s needs and develop a plan to satisfy that need with accuracy.” Service is a rapid-response and precision activity. That’s where John’s analytical skills come in.

His customized service agreements are absent of fluff and heavy on customer priorities so that PMs get done on time, done correctly, and are documented.

John also takes pride in developing plant’s mechanical integrity programs, performing PSM compliance audits, and running PHAs.

John and his wife Emily keep busy with their three boys. When he’s not chasing them around, he is usually coaching one of their teams or taking them golfing.

Pat Rainbolt

CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING

  • Bachelor of Science, Construction Management, University of Nebraska-Lincoln
  • University of Wisconsin-Madison Ammonia Refrigeration courses on Engineering Safety Relief Systems, Design of Ammonia Refrigeration Systems for Peak Performance Efficiency
  • Organizations: IIAR; Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha; RETA

Pat subscribes to the theory “You can’t do it alone.” He likes to be involved in a collaborative, hands-on process with the LoTemp team and its customers. “LoTemp and its customers experience success because they forge partnerships.”

For Pat, solidifying partnerships with LoTemp customers is something that must occur sooner rather than later in the relationship. “I’m with the customer at the very beginning – from the idea or vision to the final refrigeration system that functions the way it was designed. You won’t see a satisfied smile on my face until I first see a similar smile on the customer’s face.”

Off-hour satisfaction for Pat is spending time with his wife Ashley and their two sons.

Molly Freyer

CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING

  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Mechanical Engineering, Iowa State University
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Nebraska-Lincoln
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) since 2014
  • Multiple leadership roles in the manufacturing industry before joining LoTemp

Molly’s extensive background in engineering and manufacturing, coupled with her Masters of Business Administration, allows her to deliver a refrigeration solution that is safe, reliable, and addresses the customer’s business needs. She fits right in with the LoTemp team. “I think LoTemp’s strength is we have not only the talent, but also integrity, to possibly solve a problem with a simple, affordable solution instead of trying to sell them a whole new plant.”

Molly, her husband Matt, and her two children are avid travelers, mountain bikers, and hikers.

Pat McCoy

SERVICE MANAGER

  • Vilter Safety & Education School
  • RETA

Pat knows something about ammonia refrigeration systems.  He’s been working on them since 1975.  Pat is a “learner.” Over his many years with LoTemp, he has taken advantage of most Vilter service and safety education opportunities. “There’s always something new to learn, and the new information I acquire is usually in the best interest of the customer. The more up-to-date I am, the better I’m able to troubleshoot for customers.”

Along with sharing his free time with his wife Jane and their son, Pat likes to golf and mastermind home projects.

Michael Woosley

PSM, SAFETY MANAGER

  • RETA – PSM/RMP, Refrigeration 1, Industrial Refrigeration 1
  • FEMA – Incident Command System
  • Industrial Maintenance since 1997
  • Industrial refrigeration maintenance supervisor for 9 years
  • PSM supervisor for 9 years

Michael knows safety and PSM because he lived it for over 9 years at his former job. He successfully ran an active, living PSM program that went through countless internal and external audits. He brought this extensive experience over to LoTemp and help other customers with their programs. Whether it’s developing a program from scratch, performing PHAs, running a Compliance Audit, or performing a Mechanical Integrity Audit, Michael brings his years of experience to make sure the customer is taken care of. “Exceeding our customers’ expectations is my goal. We pride ourselves on professionalism and efficiency.”

Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and working on muscle cars, going to the shooting range, and trail riding.

Dan Burns

PARTS, SERVICE

  • Peru State College, Peru, NE, BS in Secondary Education (History)

Dan’s experience as an assistant superintendent for residential and commercial projects directly translates to his role at LoTemp. Dan takes a service or parts request from the beginning and follows through until it is completed and the customer is satisfied. Dan likes to address customer concerns as soon as possible: “If someone reaches out, I try to respond as quickly as possible, even letting the customer know that I don’t have the answer yet, but I’m working on finding it.” Dan’s prior experience as a high school teacher, football coach, and outside sales representative for an industrial supply house comes in handy when he needs to teach himself about a particular part in order to source it for a customer. “It comes down to helping the customer, and that’s something I strive to do.”

Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, coaching their sports, and using his grill and smoker as much as possible.

Debbie Stalnaker

ACCOUNTING, OFFICE MANAGER

  • Loyola University Chicago, Bachelor Business Administration, Marketing

When Debbie joined LoTemp, she was brand new to the ammonia refrigeration world. But as LoTemp’s Accounting / Office Manager, she was not new to numbers. She worked for financial services firms doing mutual fund portfolio administration and trading since 2001 until she changed paths and joined LoTemp in 2022. “I’m excited to join LoTemp and learn a whole new industry. The LoTemp team is like family, and I look forward to keeping the accounting and office side of LoTemp running smoothly.”

Debbie and her husband John have 2 girls. Their family “free” time mostly consists of transporting/attending sports practices and games. When time allows, their family loves to travel and ski.

Bob Hillebrandt, founder (retired)

CONSTRUCTION & ENGINEERING

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, University of Wyoming
  • Organizations: IIAR, Mechanical Contractors Association of Omaha

Bob started LoTemp in 1979, operating the business out of a single office at his father-in-law’s business. From there, he grew the company to 25 employees, with LoTemp designed ammonia refrigeration systems reaching across the continental U.S., Canada, South America, and Australia. More importantly, he accomplished these goals while maintaining his integrity, honesty, and a level of unprecedented fairness to all of his employees.
